8.13.22 ~ Dover Hall, Manakin-Sabot, VA
Kate and Cory chose one of my favorite venues in Virginia to get married at, Dover Hall. This miniature castle has all the dark and gothic vibes in the ballroom with so many stunning fixtures.
Kate wanted a mostly neutral palette of whites and greens with just a few pops of burgundy and light pink.
She wanted 3 different centerpiece options. An elevated floral arrangement on top of a glass pilsner vase, a shorter compote arrangement, and lush greenery around candles. We did bud vases and candles on the welcome table with the guest book and gift table.
My very favorite piece was the greenery and flowers on top of the MASSIVE mantle! Such an eye-catching moment!
For the ceremony, we kept it simple with greenery on the columns with a luscious boston fern on either side to outline the couple as they say their “I do’s”.
